Brief Story

PT. Sentra Usahatama Jaya (SUJ) was established in 2003 with a PMA status to operate a Sugar Refinery in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. The company is owned by several local shareholders; as well as an overseas shareholder. All the shareholders have had extensive experience in the Sugar Industry over 40 years of experience in sugar distribution and trading in Indonesia.

Our overseas shareholder has over 30 years of experience in Worldwide Sugar Trading.

The refinery started out with a capacity of 750 MT per day when it first started out commercial operation in November 2004. Through the years, it has expanded its capacity in several phases. From 750 MT per day to 1,000 MT per day to 1,200 MT per day to 1,500 MT per day and recently its existing capacity of 2,100 MT of Refined Sugar production per day. Annual capacity will be around 600,000 MT of Refined Sugar production based on an average of 300 operating days in a year.
